Sorry to hear about the passing of Gilles. My name is Geraldo Caceres Jr. I live in Germany. Back in Sep. 2022 I was visiting my parents in Wilmington. Gilles's Obituary

Gilles H. Dault, age 61 of Wilmington, sadly passed away on January 26, 2024.

Gilles was born in Bordeaux, France to the late Henri Pierre Dault and Jacqueline Claudette (Stevens) Dault. He proudly served in the French Navy and continued to enjoy sailing. He was a seasoned bartender, honing his skills at The Hotel DuPont for over 30 years. More recently, Gilles was sharing his expertise and exquisite taste in wine at Total Wines. His passion could spark an interest in even the most novice wine drinkers. He enjoyed watching Julie and her horse, Nové. His free spirit, humor and compassion will be dearly missed.

Gilles is survived by his daughter, Julie Dominique Dault; siblings Thierry Dault (Carole), Phillip Dault (Terry), Angelique Dault (Andrea), and Dominique Dault; and a host of nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Gilles is preceded in death by his sister Véronique.

Funeral arrangements will be held in private.
