Michael Herk

We are sad to announce the passing of Michael John Herk of Fort Collins, CO. He died at the age of 64 on June 17th, 2022. Mike passed away surrounded by his loved ones after a long disabling battle of having Multiple Sclerosis. We will miss him very much but are glad that he is now free of his disabilities. Mike was born in Valley City, ND and grew up in Tower City, ND. His parents were Herbert and Bernice Herk. He also had one brother, Dan and two sisters, Paulette, and LeAnn. He was very proud of where he was from and maintained many life-long relationships with family and friends. Mike is survived by his wife, Jody, daughter, Kelsey & Derek Urban, and son, Jacob & Lindsay. He also is survived by his granddaughter, Ember Herk and two step-grandsons, Peyton & Easton. We are planning to celebrate Mike's Life on September 4th at his home in Colorado from 1pm to 4pm. It is our hope that family and friends whose lives were touched by Mike would plan to attend.
