I met Glenn while working at the Army Hospital and he was a Red Cross Volunteer..Glenn was an inspiration to his country and i was very proud to know him..He was always willing to help with his time to the hospital..Glenn was a extra ordinary soldier..Thank you Glenn RIP sir..

I had the privilege of meeting csm lane almost daily as he volunteered at wamc. He was an inspiration and an individual i hoped to emulate, always calm, quiet and friendly. He always had a kind word to say and frequently provided the local newspaper. I also had the privilege of providing medical care to him on numerous occasions and was always impressed with his stoicisim. His loss will be felt by many and he will be greatly missed. Please forward his place of burial so that i may visit, pay...

Our heartfelt condolences to the Lane family during this difficult time. Glenn leaves behind a legacy of service to his country and deep devotion to his family.

He was a good man, and the love and character of his family are a true reflection of the life he lived.

I will always remember Glen as an extraordinary man, husband, father, and decorated green beret. I am proud to have known Glen and the example he set for me and my family. Rest in Peace CSM. DOL

Glenn will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. He loved his army career, he loved fishing and cooking what he caught - and it was the tastiest, he would lend a helping hand who ever needed it. He made friends easily and everyone was his friend but most of all he loved his family. To him his family was number one and above anything else.
Glenn you will always be in our heart. We'll miss you big guy.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

I’m so sorry, Aunt Tammy. Stephen, Stacey, and Jamie, please let me know if you need anything. Love you all so much.
I remember meeting Uncle Glenn (it was in a small store?) and thinking he was the biggest person I’d ever seen. When I hugged him as a kid, I always tried to get my arms all the way around him. I’m not sure I ever did.
He was a hero and a veteran, but he was also the guy that gave me my first sip of wine. I remember him being funny and kind. Glenn, thank you for being...
