Gloria Jean Dudley was born on March 31, 1948, in Sherman, Texas, to the late Isaac and Louise Dudley. In 1952. On October 28, 2025, Gloria peacefully transitioned from this life, surrounded by love. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister; Judy Dudley.
The Dudley family relocated to Pontiac, Michigan, where Gloria grew up and attended Bagley and Jefferson schools before graduating from Pontiac Central High School in 1966.
After high school, Gloria pursued her passion for beauty and earned a degree in Cosmetology. She later began her career with the Pontiac Police Department, serving in the Records Division, where she was admired for her professionalism, charm, and kind spirit.
Gloria will be fondly remembered for her love of bowling, dancing, styling hair, and her spirited discussions about politics. She was the life of every gathering, witty, stylish, and full of energy, and she cherished time spent with her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Bryan K. Craft and Timia Weaver; grandchildren, Bryan K. Craft, Jr. and Nya Marie Jean Craft; great-granddaughter, Soryah Craft, all of Pontiac, Michigan; sisters, Annie Dudley of Bloomfield, Michigan, and Delphine Brewer of Dallas, Texas; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who loved her dearly.
Her radiant smile, joyful spirit, and compassionate heart will live on in the memories of all who were blessed to know her.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 12:00pm at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan.
