Gloria E. McLaughlin Frames

ALABAMA – Gloria E. McLaughlin Frames, age 94, of Fairhope, a former Damascus, Ohio resident died Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Fairhope Health and Rehabilitation in Fairhope. She was born August 17, 1924 in Salem, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harley D. and Sarah A. (Furlong) Pelo.   Gloria had worked for the Farm & Dairy and was a former member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Salem. She had a love for dancing, being with her friends, and going on bus trips to Biloxi, Mississippi.   Gloria’s first husband, Dewey McLaughlin Jr. whom she married September 20, 1941, preceded her March 19, 1992; her second husband, Jessie Frames preceded her in 2017 and a daughter, Delores McLaughlin also preceded her in death.   Survivors include a daughter, Karen Koppenhafer of Mexico, Missouri; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.   Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2018 at Stark Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Aimee Raymond officiating. Calling hours will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.­­­­­­­ Burial will be held at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
