Gloria Jennifer Fannon, of Leesburg, was welcomed into Heaven by her Lord and Savior on October 7, 2025, at the age of 77. Jennifer was born on October 13, 1947, to William and Suella Luther of Coeburn, VA. She was the fourth of seven children and graduated from Coeburn High School in 1966.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Allen Fannon, Sr.; her parents, William and Suella Luther; and her sister, Glenna Drimped. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Browning and Whitney of Leesburg; and son Donald Allen Fannon, Jr. and Acelia of Layton, UT; grandchildren, Zack Fannon, Ryan Fannon, Andrew Browning, and Hannah Browning; brothers Dennis Luther and William Luther, Jr.; and sisters Cheryl Ward, Margaret Luther, and Deborah Puckett; along with several special nieces and nephews.
Jennifer accompanied Don in his travels across the United States and abroad as he served in the US Air Force. She served as an administrative assistant in several offices within the federal government, ultimately retiring from the N.R.O. in 2012. Throughout her life, she served the Lord in a variety of ways including but not limited to singing in the church choir and teaching Sunday School.
A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at the Ketoctin Baptist Church Cemetery in Purcellville, with Pastor Ken Wright of Cornerstone Chapel officiating. Condolences can be made at the following website www.colonialfuneralhome.com. A special thank you to English Meadows at Berryville for the wonderful care they provided Jennifer as she bravely fought dementia. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer’s Association. Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg is in charge of arrangements.
