Not sure what to say?

Gloria was such a blessing. I so enjoyed our chats at the office and her personal touch in everything that she did. I will always remember her as part of our family at work. My prayers to all the family. May God bless you and comfort you. Thank you Gloria for being part of my life’s journey. I shall always remember you.

I am heartbroken at the passing of my childhood friend Gloria.. I lived across the street on Harrison. My condolences to her Mother, brother, husband Frank, her beautiful daughters and grandchildren. May you be surrounded with Gods Love and find Peace. She will be forever in my heart and the family in my prayers ❤

I got to know Gloria through Beemer Construction and always enjoyed walking through the door and seeing her smile. She was a real sweetheart and a true joy to work with and just to sit and visit with. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. Heaven truly gained an angel! Gloria's Obituary

Gloria Ann (Lamendola) Gautieri, 68, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18, 2022. She was surrounded by her loved ones after an all too sudden and aggressive battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 911 E. Missouri Ave, Kansas City, MO 64106, followed by a 3:00 p.m. Funeral Mass. Please omit flowers.

Gloria was born on September 15, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Louis and Mary Lamendola. She loved growing up in the North End of Kansas City. She graduated from Truman High School, class of ’72. Following high school, she studied for a time at Penn Valley, in Kansas City, Missouri. Soon after that she met her husband, Frank. She enjoyed watching him play in many bands over the years. She was supportive of his musical talents. Gloria worked at Beemer Construction in Blue Springs, Missouri for 35+ years loving her role as office manager where she wore many hats over the years handling countless assignments. Her Beemer family was important to her. With her work family she was the person everyone went to. She kept everyone’s mood up as she brought laughter and brightness to the office each and everyday.

Gloria was a vibrant, loving and compassionate person who loved to be silly. She had the best dance steps and jovial words. (She pulled no punches).  Her personality and smile lit up the room. She could sit for hours talking, laughing and telling great stories. She absolutely cherished her beautiful daughters and granddaughters. They were the loves of her life. If you were lucky enough to be present when she gazed into her granddaughters faces the pure joy radiating from her would blind you. Gloria wanted nothing more for them than to have a wonderful life.

Gloria was a wonderful big sister to her (baby brother) Ron. He always enjoyed his time with her in town or on many getaway trips. Their love of music was a special connection especially Musician Kenny Loggins. She was an animal lover and had great affection for numerous animals over the years. Gloria loved her family, friends, co-workers, going to the movies, concerts, all kinds of music, casinos, reading, Disney characters and great food. Gloria had tv nights with her four-legged companion, her dog a Labrador Frankie Joe.

Gloria was preceded in death by her father Louis Lamendola and father-in-law Gene Gautieri. She is survived by her loving mother Mary Lamendola; husband of 43 years, Frank Gautieri; two beautiful daughters, Andrea Cox (Donnie) and Sierra Gautieri; granddaughters Giuliana, Antonia, and Sofia Cox; brother Ronnie Lamendola (Gayle); mother-in-law Josephine (Gioia) Gautieri; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers: Donnie Cox, Brandon Lamendola, Dominick Lamendola, David Beemer Jr., Michael Welsh, Chad Justus, Kody Rogers.

Honorary Pallbearers: Ronnie Lamendola, Gene “Gino” Gautieri, David Beemer Sr., Joe Blecha, Mike Bocelewatz, Ben Richardson.

The family would like to thank NKC Hospice House for their kind and thoughtful care.
