Gloria Ann Howard, age 75 of Malvern, passed away at Arbors at Minerva on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. Gloria was born in Canton, Ohio on September 29, 1949 to Earl Roush and Hazel (Hester) Roush. Throughout her life, Gloria found joy in the simple pleasures that brought her closer to nature and loved ones. She was an avid camper and fisherman, often seeking solace in the great outdoors. Her playful spirit shone through as she enjoyed playing games on her phone, engaging in lively rounds of Bingo, and sharing laughter over card games. Gloria also had a fondness for the thrill of gambling, which she treated as another way to savor life's excitement.Family gatherings were of utmost importance to Gloria, where she delighted in the warmth of those around her. Fond memories were made during bonfires, where stories were shared, and bonds were strengthened. Her legacy of love and togetherness will be carried on by those she held dear.She is survived by her devoted spouse, Richard Howard of Minerva, and her loving daughter, Tina Francis, son-in-law Eric Francis, and a granddaughter, Nevaeh Francis. Gloria’s memory will also live on through her sisters: Linda Flinner of Dalton, Mary Kaiser of Massillon, Deborah Bixler of Bolivar, and Gale Slazer of Canton. In addition to her beloved parents, she was preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Joni Howard. Memorial service will be held at Bartley Funeral Home, 205 West Lincoln Way, Minerva, Ohio, on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Christopher Rhodes of Dover Baptist Church officiating.
