Not sure what to say?

We were saddened to hear of your Mother's passing. Gloria was a sweet lady and always had a smile. We were fortunate to know her. She was so kind and caring. We enjoyed her being apart of the Bordentown City Senior Citizens where she always brought alot of joy. We will miss her. God Bless!

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. The loss of our mom just weeks ago lets me know exactly how much pain you are going through. Moms are so very special and missed so very much. Hugs to you and your family during this difficult time.

To Irene and Tom and family so sorry to hear about Gloria. She was a great lady liked by all that knew her. Our prayers are with you.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Gloria was the best neighbor a family could ever have. Always there when you needed help, advise or just to chat. She could cut a lawn better than any professional and on the hottest of days with that trusty white towel in hand. GE and Maytag never made any money off of Gloria!, all of her freshly washed clothes went straight to the lines for drying on her amazing network of clothes lines as to pick up natures fresh scent. I knew...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Always remember that Gloria will be in your heart & soul until you meet again. Her spirit will never leave you. May God give you that extra comfort you need during this time.

Obituary

Gloria's Obituary

Gloria Alice Spundarelli passed away peacefully, at the age of 89 years old on Saturday, March 6, 2021. She was born on June 15, 1931 in Trenton, NJ and spent all of her life in the Bordentown/Columbus area, working for the State of New Jersey. She loved her job and helping children, which is no surprise because she had one of the most caring and giving hearts a person can possess.

After she retired from the State of New Jersey, she then ventured into the restaurant business with her husband, George. They were co-owners of the very successful, historic White Hill Mansion; a beautiful restaurant located in Fieldsboro, NJ that overlooked the Delaware River. They held many great memories and laughs over the years, that are shared with their business partners who they absolutely adored.

Gloria lived an incredible, happy and healthy life. She was always around and a huge supporter for all of her kids and grandchildren. She would never miss a sporting event, concert, play, holiday or family dinner, because there was nothing more that she loved other than her family. She loved to travel and enjoyed tons of family vacations on Long Beach Island. She is so incredibly loved by all of us and will be missed more than words can ever express. She was one of the most important and greatest parts of all of our lives and we love her so much.

She is survived by her two children; her daughter, Irene and her husband Jack; her son, Tom and his wife Antonietta; three grandchildren; her grandson, Tommy and fiancé Rachel; her granddaughter, Allyson; granddaughter, Danielle and her husband, Jay; two great-grandchildren; Lucas and Cassidy. She is preceded in death by her parents; Thomas Burtis Church and Alice Paul Church; her brother, Thomas Burtis Church Jr.; two husbands; Frederick Potts and George Spundarelli; and her son, Frederick J. Potts.

Services for Gloria will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
