Goldie Mae (Rounsville-Oulman) Homstad passed away peacefully in her home at Cardinal Courts Assisted Living facility in Cromwell MN on May 9, 2024. She was born on January 10, 1931 to Howard and Ellen Rounsville, at their home in Coon Rapids MN. Her early marriage to Clarence Oulman ended and several years later on February 14th 1986 she married Clyde Homstad Sr.
Goldie will long be remembered as an avid reader, a forever learner and for her love of books. She crocheted countless doilies, and her snowflakes grace many a tree at Christmas time. She enjoyed doing needle point, crocheting afghans, baby dresses and blankets and a good cup of coffee and conversation with a friend.
Goldie loved God and led many Bible Studies over the years and was a faithful member and attendee at West Side Church. Even when she could no longer attend due to failing health, she continued to create and print out the church newsletter for a total of nearly 25 years and mailed them out many locally and around the world. She enjoyed learning about church history and current trends an well as keeping aware of state of Israel.
Goldie is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Homstad, a daughter, Victoria Homstad, a son, David Oulman, and a great-granddaughter, Abigal Homstad.
She is survived by her son-in law, Timothy Homstad Kettle River MN, three grandsons, Bryan Homstad (Julie Sumner) of Esko MN, Michael (Stacey) Homstad of Cloquet MN, and Troy Homstad (Chelsea Morris) of Cromwell MN. Seven great-grandchildren: Hudson, Odin, Addison, Lucy, August, Jude, Casey and bonus great-grandsons Matthew Sumner and Warren Morris. Step- children: Gary and Leslie Homstad, Tim and Gayle Diehl, David Homstad, Danny and Candy Homstad, Barbara Burton, Clyde and Roxanne Homstad, Greg and Robynne Mirau, Dwight and Nancy Homstad; Nephews: Jeff, Jack and Mike and nieces Janice and Dianna as well as many special friends and extended family members.
Special thanks to the staff at Cardinal Courts for the great care given to Goldie over the years and thanks to St. Croix Hospice for their care and compassionate support provided in her last few days.

Memorial Service will be held at West Side Church, Hwy 27, Kettle River, MN on Friday May 17th 2024 beginning with visitation at 11:00 AM with the service starting at 12:00 PM. Lunch will be served following the service. A private family interment is scheduled at a later date.
