Not sure what to say?

Grace was very interesting and intriguing to talk to . She was intelligent and engaging and I always loved to hear her talk about her job in Washington. I was so impressed with her service career in the Navy during World War ll . She was inspiring yet unassuming . I loved chatting with her at her visits to my salon to have her hair done with our very dear friend Arlene. I knew Grace thru Arlene for about 7-8 years or so and she paved the way for woman in the workforce in this great country...

I have lost a dear friend who was a loving and generous soul. Grace was a woman of substance who cared about her country and the world. She kept up with the news which we often discussed. She was gracious and forgiving when I nagged and when I made suggestions she didn't like she promptly ignored them. She led a full and rich life and I will miss her greatly. I was blessed to have had Grace as my friend.

If you ever had the opportunity to meet this lovely lady, you were very lucky. She was so filled with life, even at the age of 102. I was Graces caregiver over the last five years, but in the end, I was the one who received the care from Grace. She was more like a substitute Mom to me, I was able to have long talks, lots of laughs, and even some tears together. The world was a better place because of Grace, she touched many lives, (especially mine) she will be missed by many.

It was a pleasure knowing Grace. What a life well-lived! May her memory be a blessing.
