Grace E. Stierle

AGAWAM- Grace E. Stierle, 95, beloved wife of the late Robert N. Stierle, passed away on February 27, 2026.  Grace was born on June 26, 1930 in Springfield to the late J. Huntley McCarthy and Helen (Keefe) McCarthy. She leaves her loving daughters, Helen James (John) and Jeanne Goodsell; her grandchildren - Mark Stierle, Maureen James (Joseph Sergienko), Michael Stierle, Caitlin Vienneau (Andrew), Andrew Goodsell (Rachel), Douglas Goodsell (Christina), and Mary-Anne Polom (Steven); her nine beloved great-grandchildren; as well as her brother Daniel McCarthy (Evelyn) and their children. In addition to her parents and her husband, Grace was predeceased by her dearest son Robert Stierle and his wife Dorothy, son-in-law Robert Goodsell, sister Helen McCarthy, and brother and sister-in-law Robert & Joyce McCarthy.  The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Agawam North Rehab and Nursing for their compassionate care and support shown to Grace over the past seven years. A special thank you to New England Hospice for her care and comfort during her final days.  Funeral services will be held privately for the family.
