Grant's Obituary

Grant H. Werner, Sr., 77, of Pen Argyl, passed away, Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at his residence.  He was the husband of the late Grace A. (Davidson) who passed away, September 19, 2021. 

Born in East Lawn, March 5, 1947, he was the son of the late Stanley Werner and Lucille (Lilly) Godshalk. 

Prior to retiring, Grant was employed by Dally Slate Co., Pen Argyl.  

He was a member of the Pen Argyl Republican Club and he enjoyed fishing and hunting. 

He is survived by two daughters, Kathy C. Basta of Nazareth, and Casandra R. Schiavone of Pen Argyl, a son, Grant H. "Skeeter" Werner, Jr., of Pen Argyl, thirteen grandchildren three sisters, Kathy, Joan and Diane, a brother Keith and nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry. 

A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 2 PM at the Pen Argyl Republican Club, 14 W. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to the Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, 126 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl, PA 18072, to help offset funeral expenses.
