Gary Allen Stokes
Gary Allen Stokes, age 68, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025. Born on July 31, 1957, Gary lived a life filled with strength, hard work, and kindness. A self-employed truck driver and mechanic, he was known for his dedication, skill, and the generosity he showed to everyone around him. Gary was a man who loved the outdoors and found peace working on cars. He had a special bond with his beloved dogs and cherished the simple joys of life. He is survived by his loving wife, Louise Stokes; his devoted children, Teronn Stokes (Shera), Latisha Jackson (Zontel), Terrence Mosely (Sada), Laquita Stokes, and Kisha Stokes; his mother, Mildred Stokes; his brother, Terries Stokes and his sisters, Darlene Jenkins (Larry), Michelle Maize, and Juanita Jenkins (Vincent). Gary also leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, who will carry his memory in their hearts forever. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Stokes; his brothers, Robert Stokes Jr. and Herbert Stokes; his sisters, Cassandra Stokes and Vanessa Beasley; and his niece, Michelle Beasley. Visitation will be held on (TBA) from (TBA) at Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home, followed by funeral services beginning at (TBA) Interment will follow at First Baptist Cemetery.
