Greg's Obituary

Greg Choat, 59, of Englewood, TN passed away Monday, July 14, 2025.

He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He obtained his master’s degree of engineering from the University of Tennessee. Greg worked as an Engineer at the Dept. of TN designing bridges until retirement. Upon retirement, he took special care of his mother. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by infant sister, Susan Faye Choat.

Survivors include parents, Howard and Lillie Choat, Alice Faye Choat; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin and Carmen Choat; Travis Choat, Trevor and Donna Choat; step-brothers and spouses, Scott and Rhonda Harold, Casey and Missy Harold; nieces and nephews, Mikayla Choat, Madeline Choat, Aiden Choat; great nieces and nephews, Brenda Mae and Magnolia Rae Choat.

Family and friends will assemble at Bordwine Funeral Home on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. and go in procession to Goodsprings Cemetery for the 3:00 p.m. graveside service
