Gregory Douglas Harper, age 23, from Caledonia, MS, passed away at UAB on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Memorial Service will be Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 4:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, with Bro. Ben Yarber officiating. The church members of the Altar will be providing food for family members following the service at the home of Jeff Harper in Caledonia.
Greg had many talents, but working on anything with an engine was his favorite pastime. He loved spending time with friends and family, and many will remember him for brightening up a room and being the funniest guy there.
Greg was preceded in death by Harold L. Harper Sr. (grandfather), Floyce Harper (grandmother), Gregory Keith Harper (uncle), Douglas Harper (uncle), Theresa Manzolillo (Aunt), Paulette Campbell (grandmother), and Angela Farley (Aunt).
Greg is survived by his son Jaxson Douglas, Jeff Harper (father), Trudy Sterbonic (mother), Angela Harper (step-mother), and his siblings Brytnee McClendon (Mason), BreeAnna Coe (Ricky), Mindy Gray (Nick), and brother-in-law Bryan Lozano; Neices and nephews Bayleigh McClendon, Rayden Coe, Macie McClendon, Riley Haywood, Morgan Coe, and Zane Gray; Aunts and uncles Harold Harper, Jr (Marty), Sheila Massey, Richard Speed, Anthony (Tony) Harper (Shelly), John David Sterbonic (Annette), Jamie Sterbonic (Michael); and grandparents Frank and Linda Besecke, Arden and Jackie Williams, and Pat Campbell; and a host of loving cousins.
