Gregory W. Nowill, 70, died peacefully Wednesday at home with family after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Springfield, grew up in Feeding Hills and graduated from Agawam High School. He was the owner and operator of Pioneer Valley Tree Service. Greg liked hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family. He leaves his wife Jane (Ulias) Nowill, two daughters Courtney Pennington of Brigham City, Utah and Molly Nowill of Salt Lake City, Utah and his grandchildren Benjamin and Andrew Pennington of Brigham City, Utah. He leaves his first wife Joan McPhail, daughter Angela Hogan and three grandchildren and was predeceased by son Eric and daughter Andrea. He was predeceased by his brothers Ronald and Kurtis Nowill and his sister Barbara Malandrakas along with numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home will be Monday 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
