Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to Paula and the Pashko family! You all remain in my thoughts and prayers. Greg was a genuinely kind and upbeat person that I am honored to count as a friend. We shared a passion for sports (especially baseball) and I have many great memories of commiserating with him over the Red Sox and Mets seasons. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him!

My sincerest sympathies to Paula and Greg‘s extended family. I always enjoyed seeing Greg in my office. He brought an upbeat outlook and great sense of humor even in his declining health. He was kind and intelligent in all of our interactions.
All my best. Ken Krutt

Obituary

Gregory's Obituary

Gregory J. Pashko, age 67, of Bedford, died peacefully with his family by his side on October 10, 2022, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Greg was predeceased by his father and mother, George and Mary Pashko, and survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Claudine Pashko of Sutton.

The greatest joy of Greg’s life was his 43 years of marriage to Paula (Frongello). He was the beloved son-in-law of Rudolph and the late Mary Frongello of Medford, and brother-in-law of Joan and Stephen Krensky of Lexington, Robert and Kathryn Frongello of Centreville, VA, and Mary and Scott Graham of Reading. Uncle Greg’s memory is cherished by his many nephews, nieces, grand nephews, and grand nieces. Greg treasured his friendships with William and Jeanne Killion of Chelmsford and John Carty of Portsmouth, NH.

Greg was born in Boston, grew up in West Roxbury, and graduated from Suffolk University in 1976 and Northeastern University in 2002. He worked as an accountant for NCR and then spent the next 31 years working in several capacities for John Hancock Insurance Company.  Greg was a huge fan of popular music—the Beatles in particular—and a Zumba enthusiast. As a devoted Boston sports fan, he especially reveled in the recent championship success of the Red Sox and Patriots. He was an avid reader.  Greg liked to travel and loved the many trips abroad he took with Paula. And whether at work or play, Greg always made sure he was well dressed for the occasion.

His funeral will be held from the Bedford Funeral Home, 167 Great Rd., Bedford, on Monday, October 17, at 9:00 AM, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Michael Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford, at 10:00 AM.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home, on Sunday, October 16, from 4:00-7:00 PM.

Many thanks to the Bridges Memory Care community and the VNCC nurses and aides for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations in Greg’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
