I will miss you, Greg. But, I will cherish the memories of softball, voli, and upside-down kamikazes. I will see you again, brother.

I remember talking to Greg about soccer as both of us had children that played travel and High School soccer. Greg was proud of his children and very proud of Brennan playing for MSU soccer club. He will be missed as a friend and co-worker.

Greg had an infectious smile and was always easy to talk to. We shared a passion for hunting and had many conversations about our hunting adventures. He was a great person to work with and he helped me with some Union issues. He was always helpful to others.

Our company and I had the privilege over 15 years of working with Greg during his long-lasting tenure at Stellantis and we will remember him as rock-solid, authentic, amicable and incredibly reliable and hands-on. We are very grateful of having had the pleasure to work with him. Our sincere condolences go out to his wife Tonya and his entire family; our prayers are with you.

Greg was always upbeat, friendly, and outgoing when I saw him at Stellantis (Chrysler). It is hard to believe he is no longer around at such a young age. My condolences go out to his family and close friends. May he rest in peace.

SWIX, Gregory Scott; longtime resident of Ortonville; born in Lansing on February 27, 1967; passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2024, at the age of 57;
Greg is the husband of Tonya (Vanover) Swix; father of Savannah Swix and Brennan Swix; son of Cheryl (late Terry Siegrist) Swix and the late Michael (Cindy) Swix; brother of Robert “Rock” Swix, Brian (Nancy) Swix, and Justin (Charlotte Lux) Guthrie; uncle of Jack Swix, Mickey Swix and Morgan Guthrie.
During his 30-year career with Michigan-based automaker Chrysler (now Stellantis), Greg ascended to the role of International Inventory Manager. He was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for exploring the world, who was always looking forward to his next adventure. There were few things that Greg wouldn’t try (at least once), and his outgoing personality, adventurous spirit, and eagerness to help others earned him friends wherever his journey took him. He was an enthusiastic M.S.U. sports fan, who never forgot to wear green and white on game days. Greg prioritized his family above all else and cherished time spent with the people he loved. He is deeply missed by his family, his many friends, and his beloved dog, Merle.
