My condelences to the family of Mr Lupe Valdez Sr-may the lord be with his family friends and relatives .He is with god now and in a better place no more suffering and pain here on earth for him god be with his family he was a good man I knew him for many years as I was growing up in my teen yrs.

We send our condolences on the passing of Lupe Valdez Sr.. I was able to meet Lupe Sr. through his grandson Jason. May the Good Lord watch over his family during these times of a loss in the family.

Guadalupe's Obituary

Guadalupe (Lupe) Valdez, Sr., of Taylor passed away on January 16, 2015.Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Providence Funeral Home.Celebration of Life Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.Lupe was born to Antonio and Trinidad (Aguilar) Valdez on March 26, 1924. He married Cecelia De La Rosa on January 30, 1947.He was known to his family and everyone that knew him as "welito". He worked for the City of Taylor water department for 41 years before retiring.He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Geronima, and five brothers, Joaquin, Crispin, Pedro, Nicholas, and Isidro. He is survived by his wife, Cecelia; sons, Lupe Jr. and wife Ernestine, Miguel, Rick and wife Lisa, Lee and wife Melissa; and daughter, Mary Helen and husband Eddie. He was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Antonio Valdez; sister-in-law, Eva Maciel and husband Johnny; brothers-in-law, Gene De La Rosa, Jose De La Rosa and wife Maria, Eusibo Ramon, and Pete Ramon; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
