Gwynne was such a delightful person to be with for she was so interesting and on top of current events! My family enjoyed her the few times she came for Christmas dinner! She had a darling impish sense of humor and she always made you feel special!! Marianne Miller ,who was her devoted friend, introduced us 30 years ago and the Slattery family is forever grateful! Mary Jo and family, so sorry to hear of the passing of Gwynne. I am glad I had the opportunity to see her a few months back. I remember when first meeting her thinking how lucky her nieces and nephews were to have her as an aunt. She was petite in size but so intelligent and well-read. She is with her loved ones now and may she rest in peace

Gwynne, you were a great big sister. You taught me many things, one that always stays with me, is sewing. I remember the green dress and jacket you made me. It was with that inspiration that I took up sewing. Every time I sit at my sewing machine I always think of you and still will. I also remember the cookies we would bake around Christmas time, especially the ones with the Chinese noodles and butterscotch morsels. We used to have so much fun back then.
