H. Thomas Bailey

BAILEY, H. Thomas, 84, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Norton Audubon Hospital. Tom was a loving, caring, joyful man who was loved by so many. He was an avid golfer and a master at crossword puzzles.Born in Shelbyville, KY, he was the owner of Bailey Property Management, and a Lt. of the U.S. Air Force, for which he was a pilot and an engineer. He was a 1951 honors graduate of the Annapolis Naval Academy, and was an engineer for G.E. He was a member of Hunting Creek Country Club, 50+ year member of KY Real Estate Association, past member of the Louisville Rotary, and a volunteer for SCORE. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Phil & Verna Moesser.He is survived by his loving wife, Helga; children, Kevin and Mark Bailey (Melody); stepchildren, Rick Dissell (Cathy), Donn Dissell (Debi), Andy Dissell (Patty), Peggy Dissell and Ingrid Bahr (Mike); 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Tom's funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26th at Christ Church United Methodist, 4614 Brownsboro Road. Visitation will be on Friday, from 2-8 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
