Hal is my cousin but more importantly my best friend and I love him like a brother . Going to miss him and our weekly talks on the phone so much . Prayers for the entire family .

Hal was a unique individual that we loved greatly. He was our nephew and we are so sorry to hear of his unfortunate death. we cannot attend the funeral because of illness but want the family to know we hold them close in our prayers and love.

Hal Medford Needum, 67 of Aubrey, Texas died from injuries received in an automobile accident on Thursday, September 3, 2015. Hal was the son of John Medford Needum and Helen Christine (McBride) Needum and was born in McMinnville, Tennessee. Hal had attended college and worked as a Drywall finisher.Mr. Needum is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Ramsey of Krugerville, Texas; and three sons, Brian Needum of Denton, Texas; Sean Needum of Aubrey, Texas; and Jeremy Needum of Huntsville, Texas. Also surviving Hal are ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Other survivors are a brother, Tommy Needum of Celina, Texas and Richard Rogers, a cousin who lives in Little Elm.Hal?s family will host a visitation on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 beginning at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 7:30 p.m.; which will be followed by a funeral service celebrating the life of Hal Needum all at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, Texas.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Terri Slay and Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey, Texas.
