Not sure what to say?

Without a doubt, Tony Holt has been my closest lifelong friend. We were born only seven months apart and from the time our fathers worked together in Switzerland, we were close. Our mothers were good friends and so we grew up together. We spent many years going to school and playing together in Hampton, Connecticut where my parents Annis and Jim bought a farm and Tony's parents Dorothy and Jack had renovated a wonderful old inn for their home.

I was present as an usher at Tony's...

Dear Kay and family, Butch and I send you our deepest sympathies on the passing of Tony. He was a true gentleman ,he was a warm, kind funny man,but also a very educated world wise man. A renaissance man for sure
Your family is so intertwined with our family and my mothers Ann Robb. We are so sorry for his passing and pray your memories give you comfort. Butch and Carol Storrs

I am the brother of Dr. Richard Dibala who resides in Mansfield Center, Ct and who introduced me to Tony on a ski trip we did together in Utah. I had the pleasure to drink some red wine with Tony and share some stories and some laughs together. Although my time Tony was brief he left an indelible impression on me with his gentle demeanor, his wit and intelligence, and his worldly experiences. I will surely toast to this unique man next time I pick up a glass of some fine red wine. Enjoy...

Dear Kay, George, and Kyle (and their spouses and children):
Mike Kinstler let me know this evening of the sad news of Tony's passing. I first met Tony through George during middle school and high school, and we kept in touch ever since. Later in life when I would spend my summers at Brown University, Tony and I would play golf together a lot. I really got to know Tony well during our golf games and I really, really liked him. He was a serious golfer, but we always had great...

It was always a pleasure to see Tony in the community, especially Opera New England performances. He was cheerful, interesting, and gracious. Our condolences to the family, especially Kay.

My deepest sympathy to the Holt family. Tony was a good neighbor and friend when he lived in Hampton as well a active member of town organizations. Many good memories of Tony and Kay and the family.

The Holt household was like a second home to me since 5th grade when I became a close friend of Kyle's. I relished the time spent with a family so generous of heart. Tony, I fondly remember your project lists written neatly and deliberately on grid paper; your delicious Dijon mustard salad dressing, made fresh in a large wooden bowl; breakfasts in the kitchen, lunches in the solarium and dinners at the long dining room table. I hold dear your understated sense of humor and how great it made...

Dear Kay,

I was so sorry to hear of Tony's passing. I only knew him briefly from his attendance in my exercise class at The Woodlands, but I so enjoyed his wonderful smile and cheery sensibility. I could tell you two were a wonderful, loving couple. I will miss him greatly. My deep condolences to you and your family.

Kay and Family,

I was deeply distressed to learn of Tony's passing. I so enjoyed getting to know him when you both were in my Osher class some years ago and having the chance to catch up on the occasions I gave talks to the Woodlands community. I enjoyed our mutual connection to Andover, where I taught for many years, but his interest in what I was doing went well beyond that and I welcomed opportunities to chat with him. Your wonderful obituary notice well captured a wonderful...
