Harley's Obituary

Harley Tedrow Bobo Jr., 80, of Wichita Falls passed away on February 13, 2026.

Harley was born on February 8, 1946 on the family farm in Guysville, Ohio to the late Harley Tedrow Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Loeffler) Bobo, where he developed a lifelong love of hunting, hiking, and gardening. He played on the varsity basketball team at Shade High School and formed many lasting friendships among his classmates. After graduating in 1965, he joined the United States Army. Following his training, he was assigned to the 171st Airborne Division and deployed to Vietnam, where he earned both the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star for his service.

After returning home, Harley worked in the Athens area for several years before moving to California. For the past five years, he made his home in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Along with his parents, Harley was preceded by his sister, Patty; and two brothers. Richard and Donald.

He is survived by his son, Christopher; a sister, Linda, and two brothers Vernon and Steve.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls with Pastor Chad Stubblefield, officiating. Interment will follow with military honors at 2:00 p.m.at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
