I first met Cyndi at the hair salon but she became a dear friend when she went on vacation with Donna and me to Paris! What an adventure we had..she was a fun person and the laughs we had! I will miss her.May she rest in peace. Barb Phillips

Tamara Cyndi's only child

Cynthia Christine Lasagni, 75, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on July 30th, 2025.Cyndi was born on Easter Sunday, April 8,1950, in Kingston, New York, middle child to the late Marion B. Macholdt and Warren (Bud) Swarthout. Survivors include her only child, Tamara A. Wamsley, and Tamara's father, Thomas P. Wamsley (Donna), her eldest sister Patricia B. York (Glenn) and Patricia's two children, Cyndi's niece Dina Thomas (Jeffrey) and her son Michael Anthony, and Cyndi's nephew John R. Short III, her younger brother Warren Swarthout (Deborah) and their four children, Cyndi's Goddaughter Erin Nelson (Mark), her other niece Brooke Nicoletti (Nicholas), and her two nephews Christopher Swarthout and Michael Swarthout (Katherine), as well as an abundant number of longtime friends.Cyndi attended Kingston Catholic School and then transferred to Kingston High School where her business skills began to be refined as a member of the Business Club 3, Prisma 2 & 3, Deca 3 & 4, Treasurer 3, and Treasurer and Secretary 3 & 4. Cyndi was employed by many companies, including the Law Office of Ricken, Goldman, Sussman, and Blythe, and she often worked 2 jobs as a nonstop go-getter who earned her living as well as served her Divine purpose by touching the lives of many with her exuberant positive attitude, her strong sense of Faith, and her ability to bestow happiness and love unto all whom she knew and met.Cyndi peaked in her career as an Entrepreneur when she established and co-owned a lucrative business. Her business skills and savoir faire enabled Cyndi to live a well deserved good life that afforded her much happiness, travel, and comfort.Cyndi found much joy in living life to its fullest. She loved to dance, shop, cook, and create projects that reflected her shining light and projected all of her light and love onto everyone in her life. Cyndi is a true testament of a warrior. She demonstrated strength that only a select few possess. Cyndi battled heart and vascular issues with the positive outlook on life that her cup was always full, even runneth over, until God called her home to dance in Heaven with her loved ones. Cyndi's advice to all would be to always smile, find the good in everything, and to happily live life to the fullest.A celebration of life for Cyndi will be held on 11/8/2025 at 11:00am at:St Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish5030 Mariner BlvdSpring Hill, FL 34609Brooksville, FL 34601.
