I am so very sorry to hear of Hal’s passing. I was his co-worker at Moran Middle School, and cherish the memories we shared. A good man, who could make me laugh and scream, but a man, who was always my friend, a man whose heart as big for those he cared about. I missed him when he retired from guidance, and now will miss him even more. Hal, my friend, May The Grace of God be with you.

I remember well the enthusiasm and upbeat attitude he displayed as a coach. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I had the pleasure of having “Couch Becker” as my freshmen football coach. I haven’t had any contact with Mr Becker in 50 yrs but feels like yesterday. Very sad to hear of his passing. To his family so sorry for your loss, he was a wise man and good soul. John Gonyea
