Harold Dean Boze passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 10, 2025 in Midland, TX. Born in Van Buren, AR on May 31, 1938 to Oscar V. Boze & Gladys Boze. He graduated from West Memphis High School in 1956. From there, he joined the Navy where he proudly served for 4 years. After the Navy, he pursued his dreams of becoming a pilot/flight instructor, and welcomed 2 daughters, Debbie and Ramona. In 1976, he married the love of his life, Marie Boze, and gained a daughter, Stephanie, and a son, Tommy. In 1981 Harold and Marie relocated their family from Texarkana, TX to Midland, TX where he built and ran a successful tile business for 60 years known as Boze Tile Company. In his spare time he enjoyed playing poker, snow skiing, and traveling.
He is survived by his daughter Debbie Bentley, of Midland, TX, daughter Stephanie Stephenson, of Midland, TX, and daughter Ramona Cox, of West Virginia. Grandson Justin Stephenson, Granddaughter, Julie Lastoka, Grandson Donnie Bentley, Granddaughter Carolyn Bentley, Grandson Garrett Stephenson, & 4 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Marie, his son Tommy Black, His father & mother, Oscar and Gladys, his sister Danafay, and his four brothers Tut, Bill, Jim, and Lloyd.
A memorial service will be held Thursday July 31, 2025 at 2:00PM at West Kentucky Baptist Church in Midland, TX.
