Cannot believe it has been 10 years since his passing. He was a great dad, grandfather and Godfather. I still miss him when I look at the pictures of him and my dad when they were young.

Mom (Noreen Eavey), called to tell us of Uncle Bud's passing. Needless to say, we were all very saddened by the news. I have nothing but the fondest memories of Bud. Sue, thank you for always being 'there' for my mom and dad. Please know that we are always here for you. I know my dad is awaiting Uncle Bud and they will be spending many hours reminiscing. Harold Donald "Bud" Breidenstein, age 81, of Ocean Pines, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at St. John Neumann Church in Ocean Pines, Maryland on Tuesday April 2, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. A celebration will follow the Mass at The American Legion in Ocean City, MD. near 24th street. Interment will be private at Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Bud was born in Baltimore, MD on March 24, 1931. He graduated from Mount St. Joseph's High School in 1949. He joined the Army in 1951 where he served for 3 years. Bud was married to Susanne Marker "Sue" Eavey on July 2, 1952; they were married for over 60 years. He resided in Ellicott City, MD for over 37 years and then relocated to Ocean Pines, MD where he and Sue have lived for the past 16 years. In 1965 he began his career with State Farm Insurance where he worked until his retirement in 1995. Bud was a member of the American Legion and Kiwanis. He was also actively involved in Meals on Wheels and volunteered his time with the elderly. In addition to his wife, Bud is survived by his children; Tim (Fran), Joan Hajek (Mike) Mark, Diane Korpa (Mark), Tom (Jale), Brennan, and Kerri. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Harold D. & Edna E. Breidenstein (nee Bussard) and his two sisters, Betty and Jane. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, Maryland 21802 or online at www.coastalhospice.org.
