Harold (Junie) Diggs Jr. passed on Wednesday February 3, 2021 in the VAMC at Hampton, VA. He was born on September 3, 1946 to the late Harold Diggs, Sr. and Lazelle “Virginia” Diggs. He attended Huntington High School in Newport News. He joined the USMC and served in Vietnam, and was Honorably Discharged. He worked for Bowditch Ford for 45 yrs. He had passion for swimming, and was a Diver of Championship caliber. He was an avid listener of all types of music, and he played the Conga and the Gembe drums. He studied the constitution with classes of Hills College and studied under the Dogon Master Dr. Julian T.N. Bey. Most of all he loved reading (ALL) types of books. He is survived by brothers Howard, Sherwood Sr., (Willie Marie) sister-in-law Judy Diggs, and a host of cousins, special like sisters Jill Minns-Tucker, and Valerie Clark, nephews, nieces, family and friends and special friends Constance Dorsey. Viewing will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at 11 am at funeral home. Service be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at 12 noon at Nickelson-Cummings Funeral Home.
