Not sure what to say?

I had the honor of working with Hal after he retired from the LAPD.
Not only was he a co-worker but he was a friend and a mentor.
I am of Polish Heritage and proud of it. One day I asked Hal if it was necessary to be Irish to be nominated for Irishman of the year?! I think we laughed for 10 minutes!
Thank you Hal for your friendship and mentorship. God Bless you and your family. Rest in Peace.

Hello and my sincerest condolences to all the Dolan family. I just learned of your Dad's passing from Monica's recent Facebook post which my sister, Stef, sent me. I have great memories of my teenage years growing up in Eagle Rock and spending many evenings parked in front of your house, just Hal Jr. and I talking until your Mom made Hal come inside:) Your Dad and Mom were always so good to me and I felt that your Dad and Hal Moore - two of LAPD's finest - were looking out for me to make...

Didn't get to know you, but your extended LAPD family appreciate your service, dedication and paving the way. Love, Priscilla

Uncle Hal was always a presence even when he was on the other coast! But it was always a special day when Uncle Hal and Aunt Maggie visited NYC . I always felt like it was a special occasion. I remember going to LA to visit in high school and how much fun he had showing us around. I will always remember Uncle Hal.

Beautiful obituary for an amazing man.

Rest in Peace Dad.
