Harold James Murphy II

Dear Murphy family, My sincere condolences. I just learned of Hal's death via the annual HarshawGang email. I worked with Hal at Harshaw in Solon and last saw him at a HarshawGang luncheon in 2019. He was one of a kind and I enjoyed working with him!

I've known Harold for 62 years going all the way back to our first years in the early '60s. We worked together at Bicron and although we had some differences, I always admired Harold's knowledge of science and his contribution to Bicron's success. R.I.P. old friend.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Harold Murphy. Ok lived across the street of the Murphy's on east miner road in Mayfield heights and many years later I worked for harshaw in solon and Harold was transferred to Solon and I worked for Harold as his secretary. Working for him was really joyfully. He had many stories to share. I knew his family and learned many things from him. It was certainly an adventure to work for him. May Murph rest in peace alon the side of is beloved wife Carol. ...
