Harold Dwayne Payne

Harold Dwayne Payne, 85, of Taylor, Arkansas, passed away in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born April 20, 1940, in Emerson, Arkansas to Merrill Dean and Audna Payne. Harold enjoyed talking on his HAMM radio, going to Church, listening to gospel music and hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Payne and his parents One daughter, Melanie Payne. One son in law Mark Reynolds. Two sisters, Raye Parker and Audrey Simpson.

He is survived by one daughter, Pam Reynolds. One son Dwayne Payne. One brother, Charles Dean Payne (Edna). One sister, Kaye Bates (Jimmy). Three grandchildren, Jamie Hayden (Andy), Rachel Hooker (Kyle) and Eddie Reynolds. Six great grandchildren and a host nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Funeral services will be 10A.M. Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Taylor, with Greg Payne and Johnathan Montgomery officiating, under direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps. Interment will follow at Stateline cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6P.M. until 8P.M. Monday, March 9, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Taylor
