Not sure what to say?

I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Ray Sinclair. He was very knowledgeable about soil science, and I always enjoyed our conversations when I had a chance to talk to him at many of the meetings he attended. He will be missed.

I met Mr Sinclair online via his wonderful daughter, Sara. He was a lovely, intelligent gentleman. My sincere condolences to those who knew him and loved him, especially his family. May he rest in peace and may his memory remain with us all.

Ray was a kind and friendly man. He had a wealth of information on soils, and he was always willing to share his knowledge and expertise. I enjoyed working with him during my employment at the National Soil Survey Center in Nebraska. I offer my sincere condolences to his family. Ray will be missed.

Ray had a positive influence on me when he was a Soil Scientist trainer at the NSSC in Lincoln, NE where I attended several courses he taught for. He was honest, kind and he was a role model for all soil scientists, young and old. His strong ethics and hard-working attitude carries on in the scientists he trained.

I worked with Ray at NRCS in Lincoln, NE. and I will always remember his smiling face and happy attitude about life. He contributed so much to soils and to the Center in Lincoln.
I wish the very best to his family and friends. Blessings!

I was Ray's secretary at the National Soil Survey Center in Lincoln. I enjoyed working with Ray--he reminded me so much of my dad. He was so knowledgeable about soils and he always knew the answer. A lot of soils information has been lost with his passing.

So sorry to hear of the passing of a great mentor and friend.
