Not sure what to say?

Maury and family,

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Cain since I was a teenager and best friends with Maury. The Cains were so kind and welcoming to me when I practically lived at their house.

Over the years, we met at many family functions and I’ve had nothing but the utmost respect for Mr. Cain.

Grief can be so hard, especially when it happens suddenly and unexpectedly. I know from experience, it’s destabilizing to lose the patriarch. Knowing that he...

Dear Maury and Family,

Harry was a remarkable individual who was never forgotten and often remembered in conversation, whether it was for his golf or his career. He was a special person and sharing in his generous company was always an honor and pleasure.

We always loved retelling Harry's story when he was asked to decide between golf and tennis. "Every tennis court looks the same."

He will be missed be all who had the privilege of knowing him.

It was an honor and a pleasure to know Dr. Cain, even for a little while, during his service with the USF Institute for Advanced Discovery & Innovation. He lit up whenever he was around students, and was a wonderful mentor for them. I will miss him very much, and I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to his family.

We have lost a great person and colleague. Our sincere condolences to Dr Cain’s family.

Harry was an amazing guy. I remember the first time I met him at Tom and Maurys wedding. We seemed to click right away and I could tell he was a great guy. Golf was certainly a big part of our conversation and I could see his passion for the game. I had the pleasure of playing with him a couple of times and of course, he kicked my butt. When I saw him on the pickle ball courts this summer I wasn't the least bit surprised. What a great guy he was. RIP Harry.

I initially heard of Harry's passing from a mutual friend Dave King. I always considered Harry a friend and one of the really genuine humans I have had an opportunity to interact with. I am only about a half year younger than Harry so we often crossed paths with our golfing experiences. I have played against Harry and with him as a partner at Quail Ridge and in the Washington D.C. area. Truly a talented individual, a gentleman in every sense of the word and always a pleasure to be in his...

Oh my, Maury dear. As you know so very well, your Harry was a wonderful, kind person with a small for everyone. I fondly remember him helping me on the golf course at Two Rivers. Also the special times we had as couples. Remember the barbecue at your house when all of our children were visiting on a summers evening? Best wishes, dear, as you move forward with your family and friends.
