Harry's Obituary

Harry R. Ord, 82, of Brooklyn, PA, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Wilson Hospital, Johnson City, NY. He was born September 20, 1943 in Scranton, PA, to the late William T. and Elizabeth M. (Wickizer) Ord. His wife of 58 years, Martha (Krupinski) Ord, predeceased him in October of 2023.

He is survived two sons and daughter-in-law, Eric and JoAnn Ord of Brooklyn, and Anthony Ord of Mayfield, PA; grandchildren, Rick, Matthew and Hope Ord, sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Rodney Oakley of Greenville, SC, two sisters-in-law, Patricia Ord of Endwell, NY, Audrey Ord of Montrose, PA, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Jack and Bill Ord and half-brother, Paul Ord.

Harry was a hard worker, he worked for the Acme grocery store and then Bi-Lo, and retired after 45 years as Produce Manager. If he wasn’t at the store, Harry could always be found working on his home, his lawn, or car.

A Funeral Rite will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, with Rev. Arbogashe Satoun of St. Patrick’s Church Nicholson, PA officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Holy Name of Mary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Montrose Minute Men, 23 Hollister Dr, Montrose, PA 18801.
