HAZEL's Obituary

Hazel Bernice Eiffler, 85, resident of Moose Lake, passed away on Monday, January 28th, 2019 surrounded by her family.

She was born at home on November 2nd, 1933 in Forest Lake, MN to Spencer and Mary (Johnson) Anderson. Hazel attended Forest Lake High School. She married Harold Eiffler in Minneapolis, MN on December 22nd, 1952. Over the years, Hazel worked for Federal Arsenal, Country Kitchen, Arrowhead Starter, and Marge’s Café – above all, her favorite job was being a Mother and Grandmother. She was simple, but strong, bull-headed, but generous, quick-witted, but compassionate and both loving and lovable. Hazel spent her time crocheting, doing bead work, sewing doll clothes and most recently, playing with her iPad. She was a lady of many qualities whom will be missed deeply.

Hazel is preceded in death by her parents, Spencer and Mary; husband, Harold Eiffler; son, David Eiffler; granddaughter, Carla Eiffler; and grandson, Terrance Lake.

Survivors include her children, Debra (Rick) Colombe, Greg (Josephine) Eiffler, Karen (Kim) Cogswell, Wayne Eiffler, Brad (Bonnie) Eiffler, Kathryn (Tom) Lake, and Tom (Tina) Eiffler; brother, Wallace Anderson; sisters, Shirley Moore, Beatrice Good, and Alice Nowak; and too many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to count.
