Not sure what to say?

I will miss Heather many things happen, but I always knew you were there for me and my family is countless all you did thanks and you will be in my prayers and my heart forever. Is not a goodbye because we be together one day Love you mi hermosa Amiga.

I so shocked and sorry to hear of Heather’s death. I always loved seeing her bring Bruce into my clinic and looked forward to our fun conversations. My deepest sympathies go out to David and their children. Heather was a beautiful person and she will be deeply missed.

I am so very sorry (and sad) to hear of Heather's passing. Unfortunately, I have not seen her in years, but I loved Heather! She was a warm and caring person. She had a great personality... she could always make me laugh! She was way too young to go. David, you and your family (and friends) are in my prayers.

Our thoughts are with the family and friends at this time.

Heather's Obituary

Heather Hoyt Cooper, 55, of Rohnert Park, California, passed away on January 28, 2026. Born in California on January 7, 1971, Heather lived a life defined by generosity, compassion, and an extraordinary capacity to care for others.

She is survived by her husband, David Cooper, and their children, Zachary and Havanna. Heather was also a devoted foster parent to many, a three‑time surrogate mother, and a guiding presence to countless children who were not her own but who flourished under her love.

Professionally, Heather served as a Preschool Director and Teacher, shaping young lives with patience and joy.  Shortly before passing, she was certified to be a mentor for adults with disabilities, a desire she’s had for many years to offer steady support and dignity to those in her community.

Heather’s heart was immense—second only to that of her mother, Jeanne—and her impact will be felt for generations. Her legacy lives on in every life she touched with her kindness, strength, and unwavering care.

A Celebration of Heather’s life will be held on Saturday, February 21st at 10AM at Adobe Creek Funeral Home 331 Lakeville Street, Petaluma, CA 94952.
