Helen Cryer Augusta
Helen Cryer Augusta, age 93 was born on March 12, 1931, in Lacombe, LA departed this earthly home on Monday, September 9, 2024. Helen was a seamstress and an Avon Representative. Helen was the loving mother of Trina Angele Augusta and Luke Allen Augusta III. She was also survived by 5 grandchildren Jeremiah Davillier, Jason Augusta (Gabrielle), Gabrielle Evans, Matthew Evans, Sydnei Prosper-Moten (Brandon) and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Luke Allen Augusta, Jr.; her parents Ruben Cryer and Olivia Sylves Cryer; and her siblings James Eugene Cryer, Joseph Earl Cryer, Vernon Anthony Cryer, Albert Henry Green, Myrtle Crawford, Mary Celina Allen and Edna Ruby Sanders. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home, 2120 Jackson Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70113 at 11: 00 a.m. Family hour from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Private Burial.
