HELEN V. MACLAIN

DECEMBER 26, 1922 - MAY 2, 2022

Helen V. Maclain passed away on May 2, 2022, at the age of 99.  She is survived by her daughter, Judith Williamson (Joseph), her grandchildren, Christina LoMastro Scheuer and Jason LoMastro (Colleen), and her great-grandchildren, Alexa, Matthew, and Kylie Stewart, and Megan, Ryan, and Shane LoMastro.

Helen was the beloved wife and dance partner to Wm. Lincoln Maclain (deceased).  Helen and Lincoln adored dancing and did so from the time they met in 1940 until Lincoln passed away in 2005.  Now, once again, they find themselves dancing together in heaven.

Helen was thoroughly involved in her community at Gloria Dei Estates for the entirety of her 23 years as a resident, volunteering in the library and teaching her newest dance moves to other community members at Friday night Happy Hour.  She also loved to travel and took many vacations with her friends and family over the years. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Gathering  Saturday, May 21 10:00am to 11:00amat Petner Funeral Home (6421 Frankford Avenue, Phila., PA, 19135). Memorial will begin at 11:ooam.Interment will be private.  Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
