Helen is my grandmother. She treated me with unconditional love since as long as I can remember. She patiently taught me how to read before I started kindergarten. To hear so many of her former students' praise of her teaching skills and personality brings me a lot of joy.

Mrs. Rorig was one of the best teachers I ever had. I had homeroom with her for four years, but really got to know her when I had her for Rhetoric in 1988. She really taught me how to improve my writing, which helped when I went to college later that year.
