Read MoreOn Saturday, May 6, 2023, Helena Ann (Rosenberger) Weaverling, 77, Queenstown resident, died at home, surrounded by her family. Helena was born on Friday, September 24, 1945, in Newark, New Jersey to Kenneth A. and Mary (Schemm) Rosenberger. She grew up on the Eastern Shore and Arnold, Maryland, attended Severna Park High School, and then spent most of her adult life as a Pasadena resident where she raised her family until 2012, when she moved to Queenstown with her sister, Joyce. Helena enjoyed a successful career in retail - designing merchandise displays, managing departments, and providing expert, friendly assistance to her customers. She enjoyed tending to her lawn and garden, home decorating, doing crafts and collecting a wide variety of unique, eclectic items. She loved spending time with her family and was always there for them. She was a woman of grace and courage, with a bit of a stubborn streak that showed up whenever she set her mind to something. She was kind, caring, loving, and generous, and her fun-loving giggle and laughter brought smiles and joy to all who knew her. She will always have a special place in our hearts and she will be greatly missed.Helena is preceded by her parents, Kenneth A. Rosenberger and Mary (Schemm) Rosenberger, her brothers, Kenneth A. Jr., Joseph, and David, and brother-in-laws, Marty Mueller and Michael Adcock. She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Schaefer (Bryan) of Millersville; siblings, Joyce Stewart of Queenstown, Mary Mueller of Hebron, Paula Adcock of Queenstown, James "Jim" Rosenberger of St. Michaels, sister-in-law, Dawn Weaverling of Arnold; grandson, Cameron Schaefer of Millersville, and numerous nieces/nephews and grandnieces/nephews. Family and friends may call at the KIRKLEY RUDDICK FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, May 20th, from 12PM - 2PM for a memorial gathering. Memorial service to follow immediately at 2PM. Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life at the American Legion Post 175 from 3-6PM. Interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery will be private. **
