Henry's Obituaries

Henry T. Catino, 94, of West Bangor, passed away, Saturday, December 13, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus.  He was the husband of the late Caroline Catino. 

Born in West Bangor, April 3, 1931, he was the son of the late Arthur and Jennie (Rubano) Catino. 

Henry was a graduate of Pen Argyl High School and was a Bricklayer and Stonemason employed by BAC Locals 5 and 8.  For the last 15 years, prior to his retirement, he was a Business Agent. 

He played baseball for West Bangor, who in 1950 won the Blue Mountain League Championship.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 152, as well as the Pen Argyl Republican Club, and was a Life Time member of Hillside Rod and Gun Club, West Bangor.   

On April 24, 2025, he received an award from Local 5, International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftsman in recognition of 75 years of outstanding service and dedication. A celebration was held at the Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennie Lee Beidel and her husband Alan of Bethlehem; three grandchildren, Noelle Ackland (Justin), Cody Catino (Amber), and Dylan Catino; two great grandchildren, Mia and Bentley Catino; brother Carl Catino of Pennsauken, NJ, and West Bangor, PA ; and two nieces, Jennie Ann Morris and Nancy DeLeone.

He was preceded in death by his son, Arthur H. Catino, infant daughter, Roxanne and brother, Sigmund Catino. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11 AM at the Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, 126 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl.  There will be a visitation Saturday beginning at 10 AM until time of services at the funeral home.  Interment will be in St. Roch’s Cemetery, West Bangor.
