Henry Gregory Gerjets

Henry Gregory Gerjets, age 79, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, at the Bennion Veteran’s Home, surrounded by those who loved him. 

Born in Provo, Utah, to Henry Jenson Gerjets and Ruby Hales, Henry had a natural gift for bringing joy to those around him. A proud Army veteran, he faithfully served his country during the Vietnam War. After returning home, he built a successful career as both an electronics technician and a skilled jeweler—professions where his steady hands and keen eye for detail truly shone. 

Henry was an avid coin collector and had a lifelong love for movies. He will be remembered most for his sharp wit and infectious sense of humor. His charm and charisma left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. 

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister, Tamara. 

A memorial service to celebrate Henry’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mervyn Sharp Bennion Veteran’s Home in Payson, Utah.
