Not sure what to say?

He's missed everyday

I really miss talking to Herbert at Thanksgiving and Christmas. He was a great person.

Jane? I was trying to call you this morning with no luck. Then found that Herbert died not too long after Crutch died. So sorry. We both enjoyed him and you. Hope you are adjusting well. Love, Virginia

I’ve had the pleasure of being one of Bill’s friends in South Carolina since the mid-90’s. I’ve heard many stories of his childhood over the years, and the world sure could use more men like Bill and his Dad. What a great legacy! My prayer for each of you is Almighty God’s comfort and peace as you navigate the days ahead.

We’re so sorry for your loss. Uncle Herbert was an amazing man. We will continue to pray for all of you. We love y’all.

So many memories, so much love! The loss of Mr. D I will be felt by all! My heartfelt sympathies to your family. Love, Dawn and Wes Neal

Herbert was a great person and Brother-In-Law. I loved to talk with him and hear all the stories from his Military career - of which he had alot. He was very proud of his family. As most family members know, he LOVED John Wayne movies and I think he had them all. I also have to say he was always willing to share his dessert with me when the family went out to do dinner!! Herbert you will be missed.

Single Tree

He has a great golfing buddy for years and a good friend
