Though I only knew you briefly, all my memories bring a smile to my face, and it's because every memory has Your Beautiful Smile. You were a great Man to My Son and I. Herman was an exceptional man who I had the pleasure of serving with in Iraq in 2005-2006. He and I and the rest of our 300 strong battalion stepped into the maelstrom that was Baghdad back then, and set to work trying to make things right while taking care of our brothers and sisters.
