Hiowana's Obituary
Mr. Hiowana Val Nivens was born January 20, 1951 in Iredell County and departed this life Thursday, March 9, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jehu Nivens and Ruby Nivens Alexander. He is survived by his sister, Tawana N. Wilson-Allen, one daughter, Tulasi Nivens Jarvis, sons, Jebi and Janardin Nivens. A Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 12 noon at the Hindu Center of Charlotte, Ghandi Bhavan Building, 7401 City View Drive, 28212. In lieu of flowers, please consider making contributions to the Hindu Center of Charlotte, 7400 City View Drive, Charlotte, NC 28212 with his name in the memo box.
