Howard N. Seckendorf, Jr., 84 of Venice, FL died Tuesday January 16, 2018. Mr. Seckendorf was born November 8, 1933 in Somerville, MA to Howard and Mary Seckendorf. He had been a resident of Venice since 1989 coming from Atkinson, NH. He was owner/operator of a Construction Company and retired from the U. S. Airforce. He was of the Catholic Faith.Survivors include his wife, Meredith Seckendorf of Venice; daughters, Becky and husband Michael Ruel, Debbie Bundza and Mary D. Seckendorf; son, Darrell and wife Gina Seckendorf; brother, Roland Seckendorf; 20 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Mr. Seckendorf was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Howard N. Seckendorf, III and Warren "Smokey" Seckendorf; sisters, Jean Marie Seckendorf and Lorraine Ellis.A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday January 20, 2018 at Venice Memorial Gardens with military honors. Arrangements by Toale Brothers Funeral Homes, Ewing Chapel.
