Howard's Obituary

Mr. Howard Franklin Stubbs, Sr., age 74, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at his home. He was born in Robeson County on March 28, 1939 to the late Norley F. Stubbs and the late Rosa Caulder Stubbs. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was later employed as a truck driver. Mr. Stubbs is survived by his wife, Margie Stubbs, of the home; two sons, Howard F. Stubbs, Jr. and wife, Dorothy, of Thomasville, and Jonathan Bill Stubbs, also of Thomasville; three daughters, Carolyn Stubbs, of High Point, Susie Stubbs, of Thomasville, and Jessica Stubbs, of the home; two special friends, Joe and Shirley Murchison, of Lumberton; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.The family would also like to express words of gratitude and appreciation to Native Angels Home Care of Pembroke.
