Born to life Ocotber 22, 1944. Called home to Jesus, with his family at his side, September 2, 2015. Loving husband of Virginia "Virgie" (Lavora) Woelky for 31 years. Beloved step-father of Lucille (Dan) Jannusch. Special grandfather of Jennifer (Dan) Weber, Thomas Schultz, Allison Kaiser, and Kayla Gagnon and great-grandfather of Amelia, Andria, and Alecia. Adored son-in-law of Rosalie (the late James) Lavora. Dear brother of Andrew and Gilbert (Catherine). Uncle of Amanda (Greg) and Samantha. Also survived by Pena and Tim Lemke. Fond brother-in-law of Colonel (the late Maryann) Sentell. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Howard was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Alvina Woelky, and son Richard A. Gagnon, II.Howard was a 40 year employee of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.Memorial visitation will take place from 10 AM until time of Service at NOON, on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 107th and Fond du Lac Ave, Milwaukee. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Columbia-St. Mary's, Ozaukee, for their loving care, kindness and their graciousness.
